Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner - North Lincolnshire (RGN with ONC certificate/Diploma/degree) Global manufacturing world leader (EXCELLENT SALARY AND BENEFITS)

Working 37 1/2 hours and forging strong relationships with all other OH Personnel, HR, Line Managers, Trade Union and Safety representatives, Health & Safety personnel, other relevant personnel and external agencies. (This role will be temp to perm 6 months temp to perm)

Key Responsibilities
To conduct pre-employment, periodical and special medicals as required under the company policy.
To carry out health surveillance eg hand-arm vibration assessment, audiometry, lung function tests and produce written report.
To give travel health advice and carry out necessary immunisation
Provide first aid/emergency care and attend minor health problems
To conduct return to work assessments, formulate and advise on rehabilitation at work
Liaise with internal and external agencies eg GP's, specialist while advising on fitness for work
advice employer on relevant legislations eg H+S, disability discrimination act
Undertake workplace assessments to identify hazards and manage risks
To carry out other procedures as per the company policy eg screening for alcohol and substance misuse
Refer all cases out with own scope of practices or as required by the company policy eg screening to the Regional Medical Officer
Participate in clinical audit and quality assurance programme
To contribute in department policies and practices
Participate in training programmes of OH staff, maintain valid registration with professional bodies and provide evidence-based service
To participate in relevant committees and working parties eg long term sickness meetings
