Overview
Our client is an industry leader in the supplying and cleaning of reusable layer pads made of plastic, since 1985 for leading 'Blue Chip' clients such as Bacardi, Budweiser, Coca-Cola and Heineken. The plastic layer pads are used in the industrial applications for stacking glass, pet bottles, cans and other containers. They operate a purely production facility as there is no manufacturing.
Duties:
Maintenance of accurate and valid production, maintenance & quality records.
Adhering to ISO9001/ 2000 regulations
Production process, planning and stock control.
Planning and administration of all production related maintenance to plant and equipment.
Lead and control production & staff performance
Training of new and existing production / warehouse operators.
Monitoring of working hours (overtime).
Implementation and monitoring of Company's Health and Safety policies and procedures
Requirements
Previous experience within a production environment (essential)
Qualified within an engineering discipline (preferred)
Apprentice trained (preferred)
An understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering/ maintenance
